During my junior year at Episcopal High School, a boarding school located outside Washington, D.C., I was accepted to the School Year Abroad - Italy program as a Merit Scholar. Therefore, I am spending my senior year going to the SYA school and living with a local host family in Viterbo, an Italian medieval town located an hour north of Rome. If this sounds interesting, I encourage you to look up School Year Abroad, which annually sends students to Spain, France, and China, in addition to Italy.
