In 2008, I moved to the United States by myself to learn English. After 7 years of absorbing American culture, however, I felt the need to explore more. Despite the overwhelming amount of discouragement, I spent my senior year of high school in Italy, relearning how to adapt to a new environment. Now I am at NYU Abu Dhabi, doing the same thing in the United Arab Emirates.
