We've been working on our capstone presentations for the past few weeks, and a lot of times, we didn't have to show up to school until after lunch. So today, Alex and I decided to walk all the way from Bagnaia to Viterbo. You Only Live Once, right?
What usually takes us 20 minutes via bus took us an hour on foot. But from Bagnaia to my house takes another 20 minutes, so my walk was a little bit longer. Our walk could be seen as trivial, but if you think about it, it is the only time I will ever walk to the center of Viterbo! Maybe it's the emotions of leaving Viterbo getting to me hehe
Afterwards, we had our class photo - the moment I have been waiting for all year! One can find on the wall of the Administration office photos of every single class since 2001, the founding year of SYA Italy. So since Day 1, we have been looking forward to having our photo up on the wall as well.
So we took one, but it was quite sad. The photo of us 51 kids and all the teachers, sitting on the staircase of Palazzo dei Papi, shouting SYA Italy 2016. I'm starting to feel that the year is coming to a close. I don't know if my opinion of the experience will change in the next 2 weeks, but if you ask me right now about my experience so far, I would tell anyone that it has been the best year of my life. And my classmates are the ones who made it such.
Vi voglio bene, SYA Italy 2016 kiddos. Mi mancherete tantissimo!!
