Bagnaia

For the first time, I rode the bus in Viterbo. I felt like I was doing something illegal by just getting on the bus because the bus driver did not check whether I had a bus pass or not (which I do, by the way). I just sat down, hoping that I won't get in trouble.

Because my house is on the outermost edge of Bagnaia (pronounced bah-nia-ya -- it is very fun to say), a neighborhood in Viterbo, I have never actually been into the center. And today, thanks to the circuitous bus route, I got to go into the town.

I have seen Bagnaia from my house (which is on top of a hill), but the experience was different this time. It seemed like the neighborhood was composed of rather older seniors. The clock tower (which looked like a medieval castle, in my opinion) in the main piazza emanated glory so effortlessly. As a whole, Bagnaia was simply gorgeous.

Once again, I felt so fortunate that I could live in a country that has age-old buildings around every corner.
