Where do I even begin?
So it started with us ordering a cup of "Americano freddo" (iced coffee) at a local caffé. The barista said something, and we heard "quanti?" (how many?) so we said one because we wanted one cup. He was apparently asking for ice, so he put one ice cube in a tall size cup... We are never ordering cold coffee in Italia again haha
But the real adventure starts now. Tyler and I take the same bus (number 6), often with Grace, but Grace went home early, so it was just Tyler and me. We arrived on time, but God knows how, we missed the bus. (The busses here NEVER arrive on time, and for the first time, it left earlier than the usual time!)
So we waited for an hour, trying to call our families that we will be late. But NO ONE picked up their phones! We both live quite far from our bus stops (different from one another's) so we actually need our parents to pick us up there. So we have been calling everybody we know until Grace (who knows Tyler's parents) finally called us back. While Grace was trying to figure out the situation, bus stopped at Tyler's stop so she scrambled out the door. Tyler was without a phone, so she was going to just wait at the bus stop. After explaining to Grace why we were stranded by ourselves for an hour or two, she called Tyler's parents, who picked her up later.
It was such a mess but it was quite a memory!! I would have had a breakdown if I were by myself, but thank goodness Tyler was there. And thank goodness Grace picked up! Without her, we would have been still in Bagnaia, trying to figure out a way back to our houses.
