Okay, it maybe wasn't the ideal day, but it was pretty close.
So the school day went fine like always: everyone suffering from listening to how fed up I am with every teacher. But because I had no homework for the night (yay for no procrastination), my friend Alex invited Tyler and me to come by her house, which took 2 minutes from the bus stop.
While we were hanging out on the patio, I learned (the hard way) that wearing long socks saves you from the hell of mosquitoes. Then, we played pool in the basement, but every time we made the ball in, the table would make so much noise! Her host father uses the basement as his office, so we felt terrible. In fact, he and his job partner came out of the office once to see what we were doing (awkward).
Then, we quickly walked to a neighboring town Bagnaia because my host mother told me once that there is the best gelateria there. Well, she was right. There was one huge gelateria and I got coffee and dark chocolate. Man, how good gelato plus amazing scenery take your breath away...
