Okay, before you guys get mad at me for such an outrageous statement (it is), hear me out.
Allora, come sempre, la mia famiglia ed io cenavamo e guardavamo la televisione. I was casually listening to the news as I indulged in some delicious Pugliese pasta. But out of the blue, I heard English. Like a traveler who found an oasis in the middle of a scorching desert, I was so delighted. Finally English on the Italian TV! I turned around and saw Daniel Craig. He was promoting his new Bond movie, Spectre.
The anchor interviewed him in Italian, and he, after hearing the translation, responded in English (of course, with an Italian voiceover). But I was surprised by how much of the interview I understood in Italian. I was definitely proud of myself too. So that is why I'm better than Daniel Craig; I know a little bit more Italian than he.
But of course, I know that he is obviously amazing :)
