Cinque Giorni: Quinto/Ultimo

Today, I learned nothing during school. That is because today was the monthly student assembly (that took up 2.5 hrs, which is half the school day). So every class holds its own student assembly every month, during which the teachers leave the classroom, and the students freely talk about issues/problems with the school or ideas to improve the class. Because the duration is indefinite, the teachers show up to class and then leave if the assembly is still going on. For example, our Philosophy teacher walked in and left immediately, afraid to disrupt the students. Apparently, the student government/voice is really strong in Viterbo (if not, Italy). I will talk more about this on this week's Observations Sunday.

The rest of the day was rather boring, normal as usual. But of course, because it was my last day at Liceo Scientifico Ruffini, we decided to take a group photo, which can be found below. As we said our goodbyes after school, the kids gave me the Italian "goodbye cheek kisses." I am so happy that they liked me a lot.

Knowing that Viterbo is such a small city, I will probably see some of them as I walk around. But until then, I will miss every single one of them. Mi mancherà la classe 4As.
