Paris Part 3: Notre Dame and Chipotle

After two days of this and that, we were pretty tired. So we decided to take a break from all the touristy stuff and go shopping. Well, I didn't decide to do so - my friends did. After lunch at Bob's Kitchen, (we leave the apartment around noon every day), we went to a popular shopping area near the Notre Dame (during which I mostly followed my friends around and did nothing). On the way back, however, there was a man blowing giant bubbles. I felt like a child again. We stayed for good 10 minutes, playing with bubbles among a group of 7 year-old children.

Then, we went inside the Notre Dame as I begged. While waiting in line to go in, we met a very friendly American couple from Indiana. The inside was very, very pretty. I was completely awestruck. But I must say, after visiting the Duomo in Milano, the Notre Dame was okay. These two architecturally very different cathedrals had their own vibes, and I liked the Milano Duomo more. We decided not to climb up the Notre Dame because the line was too long for my liking.

Courtney and Isabelle decided to go shopping more, so Margaret and I stayed at the apartment. Meanwhile, I decided to use my bath bomb that I bought at Lush earlier this morning. It was my first time, and let me tell you, it was awesome! For a second, I thought it was the weirdest thing on Earth, but at the end, the water was sparkly and deep black-blue, which reminded me of space and the Milky Way.

While Margaret and I waited for Courtney and Isabelle, we went to take photos in front of the Louvre. On the way there, however, we came across a crowd of people in Star Wars outfit. They were having a lightsaber battle while singing the Star Wars theme song. It was so geeky and I loved it so much.

Then, the moment my friends and I have been waiting for three months: we went to Chipotle for dinner. You have no idea - this was one of the things on our "to do list in Paris." We went through the line once, ate everything in 2 minutes, and went through the line again. The workers there laughed at us, but we were not ashamed. We teared up a little bit while eating Chipotle - honestly, I am still crying.

Today was such a fun day. Hope tomorrow (our last full day in Paris) is exciting as well!
