Sevilla Part 1: Sevilla at Night

Yesterday, I had an Italian class, during which we took a practice set of AP Italian Exam (it is going to be so difficult)! Afterwards, I headed off to Rome-Fiumicino airport. One thing I noticed during my rather turbulent flight: Italians get very excited (and therefore cheers very loudly) when the plane takes off or lands.

I was greeted by Fernando (a Spanish exchange student I met at Episcopal in September 2014) and his mother. I dropped off my stuff at his house, and we went to eat Mexican food for dinner with Eugenio (another exchange student I met). I finally got to try the infamous spicy burrito that they have been talking about for days, and I thought it was SO good! They and the waiters there thought I was crazy haha

Later, Eugenio went back home, and Fernando and I ended up walking for hours around the city. The city was safe, lively, and full of people even at night. Admiring the people who were still eating dinner at midnight, I visited most monuments of Sevilla until our legs gave up around 2 AM. Then, we took a night bus back home, which was surprisingly full of people.

Yesterday could not have been a better introduction to this amazing city of Sevilla!
