Some of us woke up early in the morning to take a walk along the famous Rimini shore. If we had more time here, we would have gone to the beach, but we can save that for next time.
Before leaving our Airbnb on the 30th floor(!), we decided to leave our marks via chalk. I want to come back to this Airbnb in a couple of years to see if they will be still there!
After stopping by that American cafe from yesterday, we headed for San Marino by getting on an "international" bus! The ride took 40 minutes maybe? As soon as I "left Italy" and entered San Marino, I received a text from my phone carrier that everything I do will be at the international rate. And my rate was normal in Sicilia??
But the best (or worst) thing happened as soon as I got off the bus. After I took 5 steps or so, I just completely fell forward. I still don't know why! I hurt both of my legs and my left palm. My phone (obviously) cracked but only so slightly. I couldn't walk for good 2 minutes, so my friends helped me (I was limping by the way) get to the hotel and lie down. My legs were bleeding, and people who were passing by gave me noticeable glances.
Because this city/country is very hilly, I knew that I would slow the group down if I joined them. So one of the group members decided to stay behind at the hotel with me, while the others went off to "study" San Marino. Hopefully, I feel better by tomorrow...?
